AUS Masterclass - Mastering the Yoga of Light - 3 Feb 21

3 February, 2021
(Registration open till December 2025)

Every human being has access to an innate power of light that brings us clarity and purpose - as well as activating our subtle energy to fill our body with health, immunity and vitality.

At the entrance of 2021 nearly every one of us are encountering challenges that test us to our limits; when activated properly, your inner light gives you two great keys for life: strong life force, and a sense you are supported in life. With these, the greatest challenges become surmountable, perhaps even gifts for uncovering strengths you never knew you had.

Anouschka Dack and Andrew Wells will show you how to harness the powers of light using yoga's ancient tradition of Surya - the consciousness of light and life force most cultures associate with the Sun. Anouschka will show you the inner secrets of the Sun Salutation, and how to use it to kindle a vitalising dance of light through your life. Andrew will then go on to teach you some of the essential concepts of the consciousness of light, and how yoga can be a laser-like lens for designing your emotions and mind into any shape you want.

Yoga is everything from a supercharged vitality machine to a creative body prayer that can be used to change the lives of everyone around you. It can even be used as an instrument of support and love to nourish the onward journey of people who've transcended life and are on their journey into the infinite.

We hope you'll be with us for an unforgettable evening with the spirituality of yoga!

My visit to Dru yoga has helped me grow
How to live my life and how to know
A simple act of caring and kindness can create an endless ripple
With goodness, well meaning and sincere feelings
A full heart for sharing and how to be more caring
Now more awake with my eyes wide open
It's helped a part of me which has lain dormant
It's been hidden because of life's torments
Looking at things now with new expectations
I can offer more value to my friends and relations
A happier and more contented person inside
Dru has helped provide me with some expertise
How to live life to the full, enriched and at peace

Ayurveda Retreat

Booking myself on to the Dru Ayurvedic Weekend Retreat is one of the best spontaneous decisions I’ve made in a while. I have a reputation for leaving things until the last minute, in this case I booked my place just an hour before it began! I guess that’s one of the benefits of an online course - I didn’t have to physically get there, just make sure I was out of my PJs before the Zoom meeting went live!!!
After a few weeks of lockdown and spending perhaps a little too much time reading and watching the news, this online retreat gave me a much needed boost of positivity. It was wonderful to connect with all the other people who were attending, to see so many smiling faces, some new and some familiar.
The content of the course was superbly presented - a good balance of ‘live’ face to face information sharing, question and answer sessions, some ‘live’ yoga, meditation and chanting and then a series of pre recorded videos to watch. We were given plenty of short breaks throughout the day and a nice long lunch break, time to eat, read our notes, watch the videos and get outside for some fresh air.
Alongside the Zoom live video there was excellent support for anyone with technical problems, via the chat box, email or telephone. The chat was also a place to ask questions and share information.
The Dru Team did a great job of putting this weekend retreat together and I wouldn’t hesitate in joining them for another online course in the future. Obviously if I had the choice I’d prefer to be there in person, but this really is a great alternative until we can do that.

I enjoyed the waves of peace relaxation; lovely! Loved the kosha talk and flowing tree  and pear tree. Loved the kosha talk and flowing tree and pear tree! The opportunity simply to 'be' in a class, rather than analysing and reflecting on teaching style, alignment points etc. The workshop was enjoyable, relaxed and designed to nurture us!
