Secrets of the Manipura chakra

Within us all is a deep driving power to achieve our dreams. Your Manipura chakra is the seat of this power: when it's strong you are unstoppable, when it's weak or asleep life becomes a roller coaster to disappointment.

Yoga was designed to unveil this power. In this special evening with Andrew Wells and Nan Marshall we'll be discovering how - and why.

Nan will be introducing some of her activation kriyas, designed across a lifetime of teaching as our special Mother of Yoga in Scotland,. She'll also be guiding you into a unique Manipura relaxation to designed to take you into the 'city of jewels' we all have within - jewels that are capable of sparking off your freedom.

Andrew will be drawing on his years of yoga transformation in war zones and throughout the world's cultures to show you how to harmonise all layers of your awareness at the solar level. You have the power of the sun in there, the power of near infinite manifestation. Tonight we will be taking you through a process to help you experience that power, culminating in a meditation that we hope will leave you vibrating with your own potential.

This autumn we're running our next intakes of the Back Care and Well Being course, and the Advanced Practitioner Diploma course. Both these remarkable courses - from totally different ends of the spectrum - use yoga's knowledge of the chakras to transform the deepest parts of your awareness. Tonight will be a rare taster of the enormous potential of these courses to help our society. If you are a graduate we'll be deepening your experience with new visualisations and subtle awarenesses. If you're not yet a graduate, tonight will open your eyes and heart to yoga's breath-taking potential for transformation.

We hope the techniques we'll be sharing tonight will help you unlock your own secret power. And discover how you already have the capacity to achieve your goals. Please let us know how you get on afterwards!

If you are a member of the Dru Professional Network you will be able to accrue 2 CPD hours for attendance at this masterclass. Attendees from other yoga schools will need to check individually for their own CPD credits.

A big huge thumbs up here for the APD course. It totally blew my mind.

It was such a pleasure to be guided through postures that I thought I knew well, only to discover that they had even more power than I could ever have imagined possible, when you work through them on each Kosha level.

At times when I'm feeling stuck or uninspired / bored with in my practice, the tools I learnt on the APD course always, without fail, have the ability to out me back on track.

The course was so wonderfully presented, a brilliant mix of guided practice and space to explore for yourself.

I also came away from the experience a much more confident and skillful teacher, and have been able to facilitate my students in deepening there practice as a result.

I find myself eternally grateful to Andrew and the whole APD team for developing and refining this course, it's beyond doubt helped me to develop and refine my own practice.

I really enjoyed being amongst like-minded yogis. I enjoyed the moving posture work as it's not often I do postures I tend to do EBR[s or sequence work. I enjoyed the sequence this afternoon. I absolutely love all of these workshops and they keep me connected, both with new yogis and in my own body and mind. There was. very good mix of exercises, things to think bout and contributing verbally.
